Don Cross

Professor Don Cross began his jujitsu training in 1957 with Professor Ray Law, who was a direct disciple of Professor Henry S. Okazaki – Founder of Danzan Ryu.   He received 1st Degree Black Belt from his sensei in 1964, and the American Judo & Jujitsu Federation currently ranks him as 7th Degree Black Belt.  He serves the AJJF as their Vice President and is a member of their Board of Professors.  The US Judo Association also ranks him 4th Degree Black Belt in Judo.  While his primary martial art practice has always been jujitsu, Prof. Cross has studied extensively in Tai Chi Chuan, Kempo Karate, Goju Ryu Karate, Shotokan Karate, Kendo, and Sil Lum Kung Fu.  He is also a certified instructor of Seifukujitsu and Japanese Restorative Massage – which is the unique healing art system in Danzan Ryu.
