Master Andrew Allwander has trained since 1995 in Taekwondo and various martial arts such as boxing, kickboxing, Judo and Jiujitsu. He is ranked as 4th degree black belt and master certified instructor by the Kukkiwon which he earned in Korea. He is also ranked as Basic Instructor Level 2 in Ensayo Kali Tactical system.
He started his training in Oregon and competed in many WTF, full contact, Olympic sport, style Taekwondo tournaments and poomsae competitions and also lived in Kentucky where he trained under the late Grandmaster Kwan Sung Lee and competed in more tournaments. He has lived in California, and Alabama as well. He has trained under many great masters of Kukki-Taekwondo in both the USA and Korea. He lived and worked as an English teacher for a year in Korea while training in Taekwondo and Korean MMA with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and competed in the national Pan Korea Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament in 2016. He also has traveled to the Philippines and trained in Filipino martial arts and is ranked under Guro Gerald Pilapil of Ensayo Kali Tactical and represents his system in the USA.
His focus is on martial arts for self defense utilizing both Taekwondo and Kali as total self defense combat systems. He also focuses on MMA and has trained and coached an amateur MMA fighter in Alabama with success.
